Group Training

Each week the GFRS conducts a number of group training sessions at locations right across Brisbane. The group training sessions cater for runners of all ages & abilities. Training for a 5km race, 10km run, half marathon, marathon, the run leg in a triathlon, an ultra-marathon or just wanting to get fit, then the GFRS has sessions for you!

  • Tuesday 4:45am-6:00am @ UQ - interval session
  • Tuesday 5:15am-6:30am @ UQ - interval session 
  • Tuesday 5:00pm-6:15pm @ UQ - track session
  • Tuesday 5:00pm-6:15pm @ UQ - sprints session 
  • Wednesday 5:30am-6:30am @ Ipswich - interval session
  • Wednesday 4:45pm-6:00pm @ Hoop Pine Reserve - junior cross country session
  • Thursday 5:30am-6:30am @ Mt.Coot-tha - trails
  • Friday 5:30am-6:30am @ Kangaroo Point Park - womens running group
  • Friday 5:30am-6:30am @ Ipswich - interval session
  • Saturday 5:30am @ Regatta - long slow run
  • Saturday 6:00am @ Toowoomba - long slow run

Individual Sessions

Group / Corporate Training Sessions

The GFRS has a number of coaches available to conduct small training sessions for a group of friends, businesses or corporations. These sessions are tailored to once again meet your needs and can be arranged to suit your work commitments.

Running Seminars

Individual Race Pacing

Have you set yourself a goal time to run in an event? Not quite sure, but would like some an individual pace runner to assist you? Then contact us and we may be able to assist. have your own individual pace runner get you over the line!
